What is your recruitment process for Transformation Coaches?

Coach candidates must first record a preliminary interview where they discuss their communication and relationship skills, their philosophy on nutrition and exercise, and their approach to coaching behavior change. This on-camera recording also helps determine if a candidate is comfortable, articulate, and engaging on camera.

Selected candidates are interviewed based on their education, experience, and initial interview results. This live, over-the-Internet interview continues the discussion about the Real Appeal Coaching Philosophy and challenges the candidates with several key coaching scenarios. Candidates are asked to provide complete answers following the PAR (problem, action, results) model.

Candidates that move forward from the live interviews complete several assessments: typing, technology, cognitive and personality profile. Those determined to be a good fit based on the interviews and assessments along with education, experience, and certifications are invited to attend training.

Coach candidates receive 5 days of training plus 2 days of assessments, including a written knowledge test, demonstration of ability to lead a group session, and demonstration of ability to do 1:1 coaching. Only candidates that pass all three components are approved to become Real Appeal Transformation Coaches.
